Well, I shall remain calm (repete 3X).
I shipped an Express package yesterday.
I had to get the label from PayPal as eBay does not show Express Legal size Flat Rate Envelope. (that would be my fault as item almost fit normal flat rate... but not quite.)
So--------- I didn't have any ELFRE in stock, like who EVER needs those?
Phoned 3 post offices starting with nearest to me, the 3rd one had three in a dusty back corner and I beat it over there and got my pkg shipped on time for Express delivery.
I got home and entered the tracking number, done. Cool. I thought.
Later that afternoon I was checking something else (my tip for the day DO NOT CHECK TRACKING ON YOUR PACKAGES!) and saw there was no tracking for that sale! I went to PP and copy/pasted the number under that sale and (drumroll) got this message
"Tracking number added is already used by a different seller."
After jumping through multiple hoops I phoned eBay to see what I'd done wrong and the eBay rep said "this is a known glitch and we should have it resolved within 28-48 hours. Message your buyer, give them the tracking number and explain."
So, I did.
Anyway, I went to USPS and ordered everything I was out of plus enough ELFRE to share with the nice folks at 98537, 98520 and 98550 post offices.
