I have relied on USPS, UPS & Fed Ex which have been reliable. Now it seems that there are huge delays. Items don't seem to move very efficiently any longer. A lot of times they blame covid, but this is a fairly new problem which I am seeing this year. Any thoughts, suggestions? Thanks!
I did a search for this subject, but nothing specific showed up.

There is no doubt that COVID 19 has caused disruption in all of our daily schedules.
No doubt that delivery companies staff employed in sorting and delivery were effected by this pandemic as were all other supply chain businesses that go into making these businesses what they are.
These businesses realise that in order for them to survive in this fast paced world they must deliver reliability and failure can be catastrophic and they do everything in their power to mitigate/ reduce these delays.
I am sure that once the pandemic is over things will get back to normal.
My only gripe is that people and eBay continue to have an unrealistic expectation of delivery dates.
for domestic postage eBay should refuse to entertain a case for may be 1 month from date of dispatch.

After the Christmas USPS disaster things improved in late January and February and appeared to be close to historical norms, but the USPS system has definitely gone backwards in the last month. Packages aren't getting sidelined for a month, but I'd say most are taking an extra two or three days. I think it's related to PMG DeJoy's plan to cut costs. No overtime, all ground transit other than express.
