Hello,
I purchased shipping from eBay and the item was not delivered to the Buyer. Now eBay refund the Buyer not only the cost of the item but the shipping costs too although it was eBay's fault.
Please advise.

What did the Tracking say? Did the buyer file an Item Not Received Claim? Did you respond to it? Nedd more info in order to help you.

Blame the post office, not Ebay, they have no control over late, or lost pkgs. And since you, as the seller, chose that shipping service, the buck stops with you,its your responsibility to make that buyer whole.

Missing some details in your posting so not able to offer much advice or assistance. What was the item, how did you ship it USPS, UPS, FedEx? Did the shipping have tracking? What does the tracking show? Was the sale domestic or international? If the buyer opened an INR case did you respond and upload the tracking information? If you did not then after 5 days the buyer can ask eBay to step in and they will automatically refund the buyer and you will get dinged for an unresolved case.
You need to relook at the eBay MBG and fully understand what it means and how it works. EBay is not responsible for shipping that would be the shipper. If you shipped it and it had shipping insurance you can open a claim with the carrier for a lost package. If it was sent USPS following is the timeline.

Looks like you are drop shipping?

That is correct...customer gets full refund because package was not delivered. If package was insured or you shipped via Priority Mail ($50 free insurance) you can file claim with the USPS.

Yep, could very well be.

Good probability. If so item location is incorrectly posted most show item location as either FL or CA but suspect items are actually in China which is probably the root cause of the problem. Drop shipping is a mine field.

Good evening@todicamp
1. Stop drop shipping, this will happen again
2. It is not eBay's fault that the item was not delivered on time, its the carrier's fault, do you know who the carrier was?
3. If a Buyer files an Item not received claim you have 4 days to respond by uploading the tracking number from the Sold file? Did you do that?
4. Do you know if the item was actually delivered? (check the tracking history on your Sold item)
5. Where is the product you sell located?
Regards,
Mr. L

Read their neutral feedback received - translator needed.
They ship from FL, CA and Moldova.
