Shipping by USPS, UPS or Fedex?

I have a question to sellers who sell quiete expensive (like $200.00), small items. What is your favourite shipping? Priority Mail (or maybe there is someone brave who ship by First Class), also Express seems nice, UPS or Fedex?

I mean which one is better than others and has no deleys? Last time I waited 3 weeks for Fedex, so I'm little scared to use it.

1.  We have  shipped over 1500 items via eBay sales plus many personal shipments 9gifts etc.) and use USPS shipping services primarily Priority Mail - some flat rate mostly flat rated padded envelopes and small boxes, lots of regional rate boxes primarily A and we have been pleased with the First Class Package shipping - generally 2-3 days delivery time.  We shipped  about 45% of our stuff to the west coast states from GA very few delays.  The only lost packages were two both at the same sort facility in New York.  One damaged shipment manly due to our error.  We try no to sell anything that won't  fit into one of USPS priority boxes.

2.  We like the conviences of USPS - mostly pick ups at our home, free priority boxes and envelopes.  Buyers tell us they liek gettting their stuff fast - we always have had a one day handling time and will ship sooner if possible

3.  As far as  no delays go, yes there  have been a few but not many - mostly  around the  Christmas Hoilday time frame  And those delays were only by a day or two.  Shipping companies will never have NO delays due to human factors, weather related issues, etc.

I go priority mail only. have never had lost or damaged packages. In my opinion fedx and ups take to long and they thrash the packages.

Edit

I just got another package from fedx, yep it has been thrashed. contents ok but box horrible.

Shipping by USPS, UPS or Fedex?

I waited 3 weeks for package from Japan by Fedex. They told me that they need more time for delivery because of Hurricane Harvey in TX. I live in Illinois.

But I always have a problem with USPS priority - last time it was in disribution center five miles from my customer and they shipped it to another state where they kept it five days.

I wonder about UPS. My friends told me that they are really slow right now 😞 My boss shipped a package from one place to another in the same city.  Took three days.

I think I will try with Express. High price but hopefully they will deliver an item in two days.

Shipping by USPS, UPS or Fedex?

I used to ship with FedEx. I usually ship items on the larger side. Headlights, Mirrors, Tail Lights. Things like that. I ran into a huge problem with FedEX the begging couple of months this year. One item took longer than a month to get delivered here in the U.S. I filed a claim and they never responded. I filed a complaint with the BBB. FedEx response was we do not guarntee a time frame for delivery. Obviously I had to refund my buyer who got the item awhile later. I could not even get them to run a track on it at first. 6 phone calls over 10 days during this and got nothing. I also tried to get them to stop the delivery and return the item to me. They would not. I tried to get them to go back out and retrieve the item after it was delivered and they would not.

Next Item:

Smashed the **bleep** out of an Item and would not even respond to the insurance claim. Pretty much everything the same as above. They refused to take responsibility.

Nest item:

Completely lost. They were busy with a lot of customers so I just dropped off the package. When nothing showed up on the tracking. I went in and the gal checked the camera and could see that I dropped off the item. She could see and showed me on the screen her scanning it and the Driver picking it up. But because I did not have a receipt. They would not even run a track on it. Over $500 lost in a month

I now use UPS. They Guarentee delivery days and have automatic $100 coverage.

Sorry I know this was long winded but thought you should know.

Shipping by USPS, UPS or Fedex?

Large or small I always use USPS. I ship using Priority, First Class and Media Mail. I only ship Parcel Select if the item cant fly or is huge (horse saddle).

I will use UPS if asked and if they don't mind waiting for the weekend so I can drop it at Staples.

Both have never let me down shipping with them. I have only had one damaged package each but in both cases the items were incredibly poorly packed.

FedEx has gotten a bit better lately but I have to have it delivered to my work or it will either get thrown down at the end of my drive way, thrown toward the garage or a door tag will be slapped on the front of my mailbox. Usually if I see FedEx as the shipper I just look elsewhere.  I have shipped 3 items FedEx, NON OF WHICH ARRIVED.
