Shipping address updated after shipping. Too late?

Hi. Today I noticed that my shipping address was wrong.  I immediately updated it. But I'm concerned that the order will go to the old address as it's already been shipped and is en route from Europe to me here in Canada. Should I be concerned or will the shipper receive the correct address before the order arrives? Thanks!

Buyers can change the shipping address at checkout right up until payment is sent. After that, the shipping address for that transaction cannot be changed.

The seller is required to ship to the address that comes with the payment or lose all protection in the event of an "item not received" case. Scammers often send messages urging the seller to ship to another address, so sellers are rightly wary of such requests.

The seller can cancel the transaction and relist to allow the buyer to purchase again and provide the correct address, but sellers are not required to do any of that.

Go here to update all the various addresses associated with your account:

https://accountsettings.ebay.com/uas/addresses

Make sure your preferred shipping address is set as your Primary Shipping Address and any old addresses are deleted.

If the item was already shipped BEFORE you changed your address then there is no manner for the seller to change it. What you can do is place a change of address at the post office for the address that it is being delivered to. A change of address with your name attached will forward the package where you indicate. Unfortunately it's too late; your order is headed to your old address. Best you can do is work with the resident at your old address and alert them to the incoming package and make pickup arrangements with them, or try to work with the final delivery courier and see if maybe they'll offer an option to hold the package for pickup.
