Is anyone aware of USPS issues with tracking packages? Seems like the past couple of weeks, everything I have ordered shows a tracking number, but not updates or movement. I'd like to know if the sellers are not getting packages to post office or if the usps is not scanning packages. Thanks for any information.

The most important question? Are you receiving the packages?
Sellers are facing some difficulties along with the PO
Tornadoes, Floods, Landslides, Blizzards, Ice storms,
I'm sure there are sellers that have been wiped out in Alabama and sellers in California
that haven't had mail delivery or picked up in 2 weeks. East coast sellers are taking cover from
a northeaster storm.

While your answer is certainly magnanimous and does cover some instances of items sitting at P O locations parked for what seems like forever, your response certainly does not cover as much as you might think it does. My experience over the last six months is similar to the OP's and it "feels like" they move packages along whenever it's convenient regardless of any outside circumstances.

I can’t tell you if your sellers are mailing off packages or sitting on them but, I’m a seller, I’ve experienced some tracking and other issues with the PO. They will do an acceptance scan when I either drop them off or they pick up from my mail box, then no scans for days until finally those packages will receive scans when they’re about to be delivered.
I’ve also scheduled pickups that never get picked up, but they send an email saying the scheduled pick up was successful.

Since 3/13/2023 I've also had issues with the tracking. The labels are made, brought to USPS counter, they get scanned as they remove them from the counter but the tracking is not updated as "accepted by USPS", still says "tracking number provided".
16 Labels like that so far since Monday, I only noticed then because a customer contacted me regarding the issue, a minute or so later customer contacted me again to let me know USPS sent them notification that the package was out for delivery and they would receive it later that day. At that moment I checked the tracking but no change until after I contacted tech support from USPS site.
I contacted USPS for the technical issue regarding 16 labels, received automated response, no real answer yet but then suddenly minutes later a few of those tracking numbers updated tracking including the correct scan for acceptance time/day and even delivery. All 10 labels from Monday are updated but so far 6 others still need to update, only say tracking # provided and when checking the numbers on the USPS site it's even worse saying "invalid tracking number".
Hopefully will be fixed soon, not right to be penalized as a seller when issues like this are out of our control.

When you make a label, Do you also mark the order "As shipped" ?
When you ship without tracking, Do you mark the order "As shipped"
Are the orders being delivered on time? Within the time frame provided by ebay?
If so, Who cares about tracking? If the order is marked shipped within your handling
period and is delivered on time, How are you being penalized?
There's a menu of reasons labels don't get scanned. Unreadable because of a poor printer,
Unreadable because the label is taped over, Not scanned because the label got wet.
IMP the number one question is, Are the items being delivered? Are they on time?

When making the labels through ebay it is automatically marked as shipped, I just checked on that to be sure.
Problem is to not be penalized, the shipping service provider has to scan the tracking showing "acceptance" by the carrier. The date on the label has to coincide with the handling time with my account, if not accepted and validated will lose top rated seller status if too many transactions do not meet policy.
Looks like USPS may be fixing the issue, the tracking from some but not all packages brought to counter yesterday have updated tracking.
Others from earlier in the week still waiting for update, even when copy/paste tracking # to USPS site says "Not trackable", "Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site". This is concerning for me and for buyers trying to track their packages and thinking I have not really shipped the items.

I'll tell you as a seller, over the last week or two the USPS has been SUPER slow updating tracking. I've had a few packages take 48 hours to update. However, it will usually backdate. I.e. I ship something on March 15, on March 17 it updated and shows "USPS in possession of item" dated March 15

HA! I know your pain!
How about this one on for size?:
I ordered new shocks, complete with springs, for my Nissan Armada last year (from Amazon). It came post.
Scheduled delivery day comes around and I'm out in the yard working on the yard. Mail person walks up and hands me a piece of paper marked "Item not delivered, no secure location" and another check on "resident not present" or some other verbiage that made it sound like I wasn't home when they tried to deliver.
Notice how they handed me this DIRECTLY and didn't leave it in the mail box.... Yeah they had no plans of delivering it, they lied on the form and planned on making me go to the post office to pick it up. Yes I went to the post office to pick it up and NO i was not a happy camper doing so.
