Shipping Requirement for sale with Mixed "Ship By" dates

I have a sale of multiple items, and one of them has a "ship by" date of 2-3 weeks, while others are 1 day. When this used to happen, eBay would have a "ship by date" for my performance for the entire order based on the longest date. Now, they have it all listed individually. Am I expected to ship multiple packages even though they only paid one shipping $?  I'm not sure why this has changed?  Thanks for your help!

I checked a couple of your listings. One has a quick Handling Time and one is over 16 days. I suppose your buyer bought some things that were listed both ways. If it was me, I'd ship one package. Your metrics for each sale are based on your listings and the Handling Time for each listing. Good luck.

Yes, some of my fabric has to be custom printed at time of order. So I can't make those with an earlier ship time. But as a Top Rated seller, I don't want to mess up my ratings if those other 1 day ship items are counted as late!

Then it looks like you'll have two shipments. You definitely want your Metrics intact.

Wow!  I don't know when they changed this. But I'll probably have to shut down the custom fabric printing option for eBay then.  😞   

People always buy a mix of the fabric designs and I can't afford to "eat" the extra shipping for each order.

When I do the shipping label, it includes all of the items. This is really a mess!  How am I supposed to include only some items in the first shipment, and then have a second tracking number for the items ready later?

You will have to exclude your custom fabrics from combined shipping options.  The buyer will have to pay for it separately since the ship by dates are different.
