We are new to eBay and are working on selling old inventory from our manufacturing facility.
We have weights and dimensions to ship each product. However, once we input these into the calculated buyer's price, it seems either too expensive or a lot less than what we can ship it out for to cover all costs.
In terms of shipping, does eBay pay for the shipping or does the seller have to pay shipping to the carriers?

The seller; you buy the shipping label. When you make a listing if you chose 'calculated shipping' you have to put the exact box size and weight into the listing. The computer will then automatically figure the cost from the zip code your computer is registered at to the zip code of the buyer. When a sale is made that amount or close to it is collected unless you have chosen free shipping or flat rate to all buyers. Buyers that live closer to you end up paying less may be more likely to purchase.

The buyer will send you item price + shipping as stated in the listing.
You can buy your postage anywhere, but if you purchase through ebay, you get a discount, the payment comes out of your Paypal account, and the tracking number is automatically uploaded to your sale.
