Shipping Question

Hi,

I feel like I can explain this better by writing it and if I get answers with call ebay to resolve. I sold 2 Bionicle comics in a group order. I have not sold a group order before. When I clicked send invoice from the link I got in my  email with the customer requesting the invoice it automatically brought up the combined shipping of 7 dollars. I changed this to $3.50 because I thought I could group the two items together. I sent the invoice. I noticed on the sold screen on the two comics it said shipping was free. I double checked the item page and it still said the 3.50 shipping (individually) I had picked when I listed the comics. So why was free shipping on the sold screen but the other places I mentioned was the shipping I originally picked for the two comics. When I went to the send invoice screen it said nothing about giving free shipping and if it did I did not see it easily. Also the order details page that can be seen on the sold page does not say free shipping either.

If I call ebay about this what do I say or what can I  do to resolve this easier. Or if this happens again, what would be a better action for future group orders.

Maybe I am dense, but I don't see a problem.

Are you using the App on a phone or Tablet?  There are all sorts of issues with them showing Free shipping in odd places.

But, if your original listing showed 3.50 per item shipping and the invoice showed a shipping amount then I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks for the reply. I was using a Kindle Fire and a desktop. I do remember seeing the Kindle Fire saying the free shipping on the sold screen, not so sure about the desktop. The Kindle Fire does not show all the details a web browser does so it is limited and you did say that free shipping appears in odd places with apps. The Kindle FIre uses its own browser called Silk and the ebay site is different on it. So if I see it again, I'll remember that it could be the app and I will rely on the invoice total. I hope this does not happen where a buyer sees free shipping on an app and is in for surprise that there is a shipping total. Thanks again.
