Shipping Question...How is this possible??

Four times I tried to purchase cat food from 4 different sellers on eBay, and three of them cancelled my orders citing that USPS, UPS and FedEx will not ship to my address.  All sellers are listed in US cities.  The other one said I requested a refund which was not true.

Just had a back and forth with the fourth seller and they keep insisting that FedEx will not let them purchase a label to ship to me.  I contacted FedEx directly at the 800 number and was told there's no reason why the seller can't ship to me, my zip code is in their system.  Seller refunded me, didn't want that, citing problem with my shipping address which, again, is not true.

Can anyone make me understand??

So, why would three sellers come back with the same reason for not shipping?

Will have to remember to look at their profile or about page.  Didn't see that one...my bad.  Will be more careful in future.  Thanks.

A buyer can revise their negative feedback if the seller sends them a formal "Feedback revision request" within 30 days after the feedback was left.

Thanks.  Good to know.   If the issue is what I think it is, I will be doing that.  Right now I rather wait till eBay does its due diligence.

Re: Shipping Question...How is this possible??

Well, most likely its the drop shipper scenario not what I originally thought.

I found out, after speaking with my sister, that she is having something delivered to my address and it's coming via FedEx by Monday.  And she has tracking.  So, sellers lied.  They could've just been honest.  If they were out of product, they should've just said that, I would have no problem.  But they're using an excuse, something wrong with my shipping address, that makes me look bad and keeps them from getting a defect.

The best way to tell is to see where they are located and where they are shipping from.

If they are located in another country but shipping from the US, they are probably dropshipping.

Comments in the sellers feedback.

Have a great day.

@krazybouthorses Go to the sellers “about “ section and it not only tells you the date they signed up but also the country in which they reside/signed up in

Re: Shipping Question...How is this possible??

Thanks.  Will have to check that section out before buying anymore.    Just my opinion, but ebay shouldn't allow drop shippers.   Seems to me they just cause too many problems.  Again, that's just my opinion which doesn't mean much.  🙂
