I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but I noticed a shard drop in sales where the customer chose faster shipping options such as First Class and Priority Mail, even though customer requests for such faster services are going up. When I checked, I found an apparent EBAY GLITCH that is only showing one of my shipping choices to my customers instead of all three. Further checking shows that this is affecting thousands of my listings over at least four of my eBay stores. Going into the holiday selling period, this will translate in lost sales in the tens of thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of extra work servicing customers who need the very shipping services that eBay is supposed to be supplying to them automatically. As has happened in previous eBay glitches, this is most likely happening site wide to tens of millions of listings without knowledge of the sellers. With the Holiday Sales Period already here, I cannot afford to wait the months that it normally takes eBay to identify, acknowledge and fix such system wide glitches. As in the past, I immediately have contacted eBay Customer Service, but have little faith that they will do something timely without thousands of sellers complaining about the same thing.

It's not a glitch, they decided they weren't gonna show the buyers all the shipping options on the listing and only show them the ones they want to.

Thank you, Ken. Not exactly the problem though. eBay had announced that they would only show the best choice in a given shipping category. This is not eBay showing only one choice in a given shipping speed category, it is eBay not showing two shipping categories AT ALL, especially damaging with the holidays approaching and eBay urging its sellers to make sure that they have expedited shipping available for the buyers.

Ebay's new mantra apparently is to narrow the choice buyers have as much as possible. After all ebay knows best.

They won't show all the shipping options you have set up for a listing.
They will only show the ones that they think is best for the buyer.
If you have 5 shipping options set, they might only show 2 of them to the buyer.

Again, Ken, not the problem here. eBay is not showing the best choice for the customer, nor the fastest, nor the least expensive, they are only showing ONE choice and NO OTHER CHOICES CAN BE FOUND. I have checked each listing and they are set up correctly so that the customer can choose Parcel, First Class or Priority based on shipping speed needed, just like eBay instructs to do. Only the Parcel is showing up. I monkeyed around with the shipping calculator and was able to get a second option to occasionally show up, either the First Class or the Priority, but they would not stay active and the customer does not even know that other choices are available. Believe me, eBay has already told me that this is NOT RIGHT. It took them 7 months to fix the last system wide glitch and this one is going to cost millions of dollars in lost Christmas sales if not fixed immediately, something that should concern all of us.

Are you just checking with your own zip? I checked a few of your listings and they all had at least 2 shipping options. When I used a California zip some of the listings showed 3 choices.

Here's my take as a buyer here. I think it is stupid of ebay to do this. As a buyer here, I like choices and ebay seems to want to tell me what is best for me. I don't like that very much. For example I have issues if an eBay seller uses FedEx. For me I have had so many horrible examples with FedEx misdelivered packages, slow transit times and breakage that I try to avoid it at all costs and will pay more money for a better service.
If I see a seller only offering FedEx as the shipping choice, I hit the back button and don't buy from them. Say a seller advertises choices of USPS and FedEx and Ebay now decides to only show the FedEx option for a particular seller, they will not be getting my business. Sometimes I wonder how the rocket scientists at the ebay corporate offices come up with this **bleep**? It seems they are trying to bankrupt this place and help sellers not get any sales. It seems every other week they are coming up with new changes or rules and basically throw all sorts of ideas at the wall just to see if one thing will stick. It's so dumb.

Thank you, PJ. I have five running eBay stores. One of them seems to be showing the correct Postage costs as listed. The other four are not. They are either showing only one shipping choice, Media or Parcel, and leaving out the First Class and Priority rates if both are available or they are only showing two of the three, leaving out the First Class or Priority. Either way, it is going to be very costly in lost sales going into the holiday period where the customers demand faster shipping speeds available.
And yes, I monkeyed with the shipping calculator as well and occasionally it would show an additional shipping option, but that is not something that the customers will do anyway. They will just look and see only one SLOW choice for the shipping and then not buy at all or buy from someone else. Neither of those choices are acceptable.
