The buyer paid for Priority shipping to zone 8 up to 2 lbs can i use a flat rate priority medium size box to ship?

Yes, this. And the eBay postage cost to ship a Medium flat-rate box is higher than the cost to ship 2 pounds to Zone 8 ($14.00 vs $13.17), so it would make sense to use another box if you have one.

Yes..it is the "class/level" of service they paid for....that should be fine
