Shipping Method Changed on Labels Today

Had a few boxes to pack up today.  Labels were being printed out flat rate or  media , although onscreen label showed another method of shipping as offered by me or chosen by buyer.  Label online would show first class, but actually print out as media.  Flat rate was also being printed out instead of option chosen.  Any one else have this problem ??  Glad I caught this before packages shipped out,  had to redo like 5 packages.   Been selling a long time, this was a first for me.

I had one of mine change to media mail today. I use a tablet to print.  Sometimes, when I put in the ounces, my finger is too close to the lb. box and that is what happened today.   So , instead of a 5 ounce first class box, it printed a 5 lb.  and automatically switched to media label. I had to void.  Luckily I noticed before I wasted ink.   My fault for watching tv while trying to print the label.  Maybe the same thing happened to you?

You are to IGNORE whatever 'shipping type' is chosen or shown- just click the blue button that says 'show more' and then 'choose' the correct shipping that either you've already 'pre-chosen' or if you have various choices for the customer, then you choose the one the 'customer' paid for. 

I sell Auto Parts. Many items come up as being able to ship MEDIA. No idea why, not even close to the correct 'category'- but I just click 'show more' and choose how I need to ship it (2 choices-under 16oz is USPS 1st Class and over is USPS Priority; a few items are 'USPS Priority Flat Rate'...so again- I just click 'see more' until I get what I need).

It was 5 out of 14 packages.  The thing is the label on the screen showed first class, which was correct, but printed out media mail.

It showed the correct shipping option on the screen, but printed a different option. 
5 times, not just once.  Been selling 20 years, a first for me.

That is troublesome indeed. I have never had that happen and I don't know what the  problem might be. At least you caught it before sticking those labels on your packages, but I am sorry that you have had that extra work.

I wish I could help, but it would seem only the tech staff at eBay would have any clue how to procede.

I noticed that yesterday, I'm glad I did.  You just have to be observant before you print your label and switch the shipping type before you purchase your label.

I was charged for the the wrong labels and had to go back and void them even though they never printed out.

The ones with the wrong shipping method were caught before printing, but I was charged for them anyway.  I had to void several labels that never even printed.

Check your label page and make sure you weren’t charged for two labels. 
i had no idea I was charged for them until I checked.
