Hello! I have tried to research this for the last hour and I cannot find a clear answer. Is liquid laundry soap considered HAZMAT? If so, which category would I choose? and do I need to put any labels on the outside of the box?
I packaged it well, there are 2 small bottles of liquid, I tapped the lids down good, put them both in a clear plastic bag and sealed it, then put them in a water proof poly mailer, then wrapped that in bubble wrap, then I put packing paper in the bottom of the box, then put 2 packs of air on one side of the box so they could lay diagonal with the lid side up, then put more packing paper on top and closed it. It feels secure, I put arrow up markings on all sides. If I do need a label, where would I get one? I tried looking on USPS site and cannot find where to print one(which it would help if I knew which label, if any I needed)
Thank you 🙂

You'd have to look up the ingredients to know for sure @ladonnamart and because I'm so nice 😉 I went ahead and did that for you. None of the ingredients of that Seventh Gen Lavender detergent are considered hazmat per USPS guidelines.
That said, you still have to follow their guidelines for shipping nonhazardous liquids, which includes marking the package on the exterior to say contents: liquid along with those orientation arrows you used.

I don't see liquid soap or even anything close on the USPS Hazmat list.

I would pack it well, protect it from any possible leakage and ship it.

Just an update 🙂
The package arrived to the buyer intact and nothing leaked!
These are the labels I put on the box, I just printed them on my thermal label printer and stuck them on all sides of the box! I wanted to be SURE SURE that it made it there safely! 😄

Great job.
Wally FedEx'ed me some juice. No arrows but the bottles were in bags. Well 3 of the 5 were in bags. Thing is.... the bags were taped............ but not taped completely. Somebody tried, but not real hard.
You went the extra mile.
As an aside................ I don't believe that any of the processing machines (and perhaps some employees) read up arrows 🤣 (I could be wrong. It would not be the 1st time) (probably not even the 1st time today)
