I have an active listing and before listing I specifically checked no international shipping as well as checked each international country as places that I don't ship to YET my first bid is a buyer that's based in Indonesia? I thought that checking the exclusions preferences would eliminate these international buyers from bidding on my item. Am I supposed to still police my listing and cancel bids from international buyers as they come along? What, then, is the point of having these preferences checklist??? Thanks in advance for any responses.

Do you actually have your site preferences set to block bidders with addresses that you don't ship to? If so, then the only way for a person registered in Indonesia to bid is if they have a US shipping address.

Okay, now I feel dumb
How do I block those bidders you're talking about? Thanks for the help ![]()

Go to your Account tab in My eBay. Click on the Site Preferences. Click on Buyer Requirements. You will find Buyers in Locations I Don't Ship to on the list.
Note as already stated, this blocks buyers by primary shipping address, not country of registration. So a foreign buyer with a US shipping address can still bid.

Okay, so I went into my Account and found that I did check all the necessary buyer requirements to exclude those with shipping addresses I don't ship to, HOWEVER, I didn't check "Apply above settings to active and future listings." I guess I'm supposed to check this one everytime before I list anything
I guess I'm going to have to cancel this bidder and revise my listing to add in capital letters and bold marks that I don't ship internationally ![]()
