Shipping Counted As Income

Hi, I was just wondering how Ebay can count shipping as income on 1099 when it is not income?

Then tax us on $12 not the whole $20

Or tax us $8.00 on the $20 which ever it would be

Yah dont give in so easy your right we shouldnt be taxed on moneys we never see were not the shipping co its ebays platform they need to change it and not raise the final value fee in doing that as well this is a major problem and many others feel the same as i do

individual jurisdictions choose what portions of a sale are taxable.

Some charge just the sale amount.

Some also charge on shipping.

If your doing quarterlys maybe not everyone has the know how to do that some people are alit smaller entity
