Shipping Charges Still Coming Out of PayPal

So, our payments are now going to our bank, but our shipping is still coming out of our PayPal. We're having to transfer funds from the bank to PayPal to pay for shipping, is there somewhere we need to change that? Our Payments and Checkout is pointing to the bank, we can't find where it shows how to change the shipping costs.

Are these on new listings with manged pay or old listings??

Make sure your payment methods for eBay fees is not PayPal.

Use a credit card..

That may be the problem.

Both new and old listings. Our payments methods show our bank, but it's just the shipping coming out of PayPal....so far.

At the bottom of the label page, you can choose the method of payment... PayPal, Pending Funds, etc.

What you choose will be your new default until you change it again.

I happen to use PayPal, but keep a zero PP balance. MP reaches through PayPal to debit my attached bank account. You can also put a CC in your PayPal wallet and choose that method to pay for labels.

I woke up today to two paypal shipping charges coming out of my account for the first time, since the change.  I had everything set for shipping to come out of pending payments.  So when I went to ship this morning, it is showing, again, that it is coming out of paypal.  I did NOT change it, but I had to change it back to pending payments on the label I printed this morning.  I am not sure why/how it got changed back to paypal, since I have nothing in there now, but keep an eye on it, when shipping.

Is anyone having the problem of shipping charges being deducted from Ebay Inc Shipping and also deducted from the checking account associated with paypal creating 2 payments for shipping charges?

No I am getting hit with shipping adjustments too often.  Saying I used a large flat rate rate box instead of my own box with an upcharge of $11.31.  Trying to fight it costs hours on the phone with eBay.  I started bypassing eBay and shipping directly from the USPS website.  So far so good...

You started your own thread on this.

But if you are shipping with the USPS website you are paying RETAIL rates, which are higher than the Commercial rates eBay, PirateShip, Stamps.com and PayPal offer.  Hey it is your profits that are taking a hit by using higher costs shipping so you have a right to do that.  Not how I would operate, but hey, you are free to use a more expensive means of shipping.

Yeah, that would be stupid now wouldn't it.  I have qualified for commercial rates for years and see no difference in eBay rates and what I pay direct, except for the 3% savings on Priority I receive as a TRS.  FedEx offers me the same rates as eBay and also a rewards program that has generated hundreds in dollars in gift cards over the years.  USPS just came out with a rewards program for commercial shippers that promises to negate the loss of eBays 3% discount.

So that's how I operate....

It is not always more expensive since ebay charges 12.55% on shipping charges.

I'm having the same issue. Ebay will not provide reason as to why.

I'm having the same issue. Ebay won't help me so I called Paypal today. Paypal stated that Ebay did not process the shipping payments through Paypal for 2 months after changing to managed payments but randomly started again with no explanation. Paypal was not sure why but stated they get alot of calls about Ebay problems and still process alot of their payments.

I had two shipping charges appear on PayPal today.  I don’t fund PayPal since I’ve switched to eBay payments.  I’m confused as to why this is happening.

There is an option before you print the label to choose how to pay for it.  You just need to change that payment choice.
