Shipping Barbies with Shipper

I recently inherited my mom's barbie collection and I have some that have shippers. I'm new to the whole Barbie World so  my question is: Do I just mail the barbie in the shipper or do I pack the barbie and shipper into another box and then mail them? Thank you for all your help in advance!!DSC_0141.JPG

And make sure in your description to talk about the shipping box.  Give lots of information and good pics.  You can have up to 12 pics for free.  In your discription, think like a buyer and answer all the questions you might have if you were searching for the item.

When you write your title, that is prime real estate.  Choose your words carefully.  The more words you choose that someone might use as a search word the better.  Don't use useless words like pretty, beautiful, lovely, etc.  It is a waste of valuable space.

Good Luck

What is a "shipper"?

Re: Shipping Barbies with Shipper

That's dollll biz talk for a plain cardboard box that the nice doll box goes inside, officially to be used for shipping the doll.  So the question is whether that outer box needs to be kept nice by preparing the package with yet a third box.

Re: Shipping Barbies with Shipper

For collectors of new, boxed dolls condition is key and that includes the shipper. Way back when I was a collector I witnessed grown men crying at the sight of a slightly dented box (no joke!) As suggested you would use a third box to protect Barbie, her original box and the shipper. I hope this helps!

Definitely protect the shipper.  That is a real find in and of itself.  So package well and protect everything is your best bet.

Re: Shipping Barbies with Shipper

It's the original box that the Barbie was shipped in from the mattel company. Or at least that's what I think.
