Shipped via USPS without tracking number; update item ship info

I was out of town and a friend shipped a $15 item via USPS first class without a tracking number. It was received by the buyer.  How do I update the shipment to show it was received as it shows late shipment because there is no tracking number?

You didn't ship your order within your specified handling time. Ship it as soon as possible.

Estimated delivery date shown to buyer: Jan 20, 2023 - Jan 21, 2023

This order is complete and we've made the funds available for payout.

You can't, but if the buyer marked it as received within the delivery timeframe, you won't get a defect.  You do get a certain percentage of late items allowed, so if you don't make it a habit, you'll be fine.

You can mark it as 'Shipped' (to get rid of the message) but you can't mark it as 'Delivered'.
