I had a buyer in Mexico request an alternative to USPS for international shipping and after researching rates we went with DHL (he paid for the upgrade)
The item was picked up today and I have a tracking number in the format of 18 8854 1xxx [10 total digits] (edited last three digits because, last I knew, the forums said it was against posting standard to include tracking numbers in posts 🙄)
When I click on the transaction and select "add tracking number" I got to the page that allows you to enter a "tracking number" and "carrier" but despite the tracking already being live on DHL's webpage, eBay isn't recognizing the tracking number nor is it allowing DHL to pop up as a carrier.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this so it doesn't count against my metrics and so I have the information attached to the transaction in case a dispute is opened later on?
