Shipped package with no movement for 2 weeks. How do I file an insurance claim?

Shipped package with no movement for 2 weeks. How do I file an insurance claim?

I saw that USPS Priority labels purchased via eBay include $50 or $100 worth of insurance.

Can I file it through eBay?

Any tips or tricks?

I Googled it but any links with relevant information were outdated.

@soby51

eBay has nothing to do with it.

USPS  dot com

Hover on "help"  over on the right side

Click on "filing a claim"

@soby51   Two weeks, is that all?  First file a Missing package claim with USPS ... if you try an insurance claim right now with MANY packages sitting that long or longer I think you will be wasting your time.  We've filed a couple missing package claims and they have  eventually been delivered.

What was the sale price on the item you want to file the insurance claim on?

Re: Shipped package with no movement for 2 weeks. How do I file an insurance claim?

I currently have 18 packages that were sent between Dec 9th to the 16th that still have not been delivered. I filed a missing mail on all of them and the ones that haven’t moved for over 2 weeks a lost package NONE have been paid out because they are that back up. They are still trying to find packages which are sitting somewhere so if they pay out a claim I can imagine it will be a couple of weeks before they do. At this point I will be out over $1500 for the 18 packages if the customers force the item not received option.

USPS doesn't consider a package as lost for over a full month so two weeks will not get you anywhere. All shipments are currently delayed. Just be patient and your package will show up. Best of luck to you....

It's way too soon. It cant be done. Plus the package will get delivered in about a week. It was about 3-4 weeks delivery for priority mail but seems to be about 2-3 now. In general, not a hard and fast rule.
