I bought this shelf from liquidation_king2014 and paid for it.  They refunded my money because they didn't have the black one that I wanted.    BUT then they send me the chrome shelf that I didn't order.  I've been tyring to get a return label from them since July 6 - nothing - and they haven't responded to my requests (4) since they said they'd send a label on July 6.  The shelf sits here in the box in my hallway.  What's the best way to handle this?

Tell your seller one final deadline, just once, that it will be donated on that date.

Then stick to it.

Why would you want to return a freebie at seller expense?

 

The seller failed to fill your order for a black shelf.  You received a refund and the seller received an out-of-stock defect.  The seller paid to send you a free gift.

 

So you're done.  No need for a return.  Just paint the chrome shelf black or cover it with something.  Or give it to someone who will find the shelf useful and attractive and appreciate your kindness.

I'm confused...you got your money back and a shelf, what is the problem? If you don't want the shelf that was given to you for free, toss it somewhere or give it as a gift.

Can you not do a "return to sender"? or did you open the box?
