Sent a product back without opening a return request

So ive been trying to buy a new phone but every 'new' phone I get is used. One potential seller said that since the phones looked like new she posted them as 'brand new'.

Anyways so I talked to the seller via messages and she sent me a return label. I didnt open a return request ticket. Should I be worried about getting scammed and not getting my money back?

As long as you have proof of delivery to the sellers zip, you will be OK. You can always file with PayPal if you lose an eBay case.

Did you write down the tracking number?

If the phone gets returned , but the seller won't give your refund, you can open a return.

You will need to enter the tracking number in the return to show the phone was returned to the seller.

I would suggest buying the phone locally, where you can see it and hold it.

Make sure you have your tracking number, if they dont refund you call ebay, then put in a return, show the tracking number then. They can also read any and all messages between you and the seller as long as its on ebays mail.
