Sent item the next day through USPS with tracking on July 6th. Had not arrived by July 16, and buyer filed a complaint. Sent a second one to protect my eBay standing. Both finally arrived very late. Buyer received a refund and she received two orders. There are two more of my sales pending under the same circumstances. Not fair to me. Contacted buyer who says eBay felt she deserves both items & a refund. YOU CANNOT DEPEND ON USPS BECAUSE OF COVID.

I would have gone to the USPS.COM website, entered the tracking number, and then selected the option to have updates sent via e-mail. I would also have contacted the buyer to please be patient because of delays due to the pandemic.
I would never send the buyer another item, mainly because I don't usually have another. I would wait until the very last minute before refunding.
I hope you added the buyer's user ID to your BBL since s/he is not an honest ebayer.

I learned the hard way to not send a replacement, just to send a refund. Of course they can still file a PP claim even if the $$$ is refunded to them, for they file through their bank. Advice on these forums about my issue has to not send a replacement.

RE:USPS Shipments on July 6th - We've had delays in excess of 14 days. Nasty obnoxious buyers want to cancel orders and refunds. Ebay always sides with Buyers and Cheats Sellers. Allowing Buyers 35 business days to send a return is OUTRAGEOUS. The only recourse is to EXTEND HANDLING TIME TO 15 DAYS & NO RETURNS !!! Ebay is all about feedback extortion.

Thanks for info. I took everything off ebay. I'm a 72 year old recent widow and struggling to keep a roof over my head. Can't afford to through money away.

That's rude, a buyer thinking they are entitled to a free gift because the USPS didn't deliver it on time during tough times.
