Hi everyone - quick note for those of us who ship with eBay Standard Envelope (and eBay International Standard Delivery):
eBay is currently showing a site-wide warning that Standard Envelope labels may not generate correctly, especially when:
Adding insurance
Adding signature
Generating QR codes
Using UPS (similar issues with label generation)
If you’re affected, eBay recommends:
✔️ Using regular printable labels (PDF)
✔️ Trying again later if the label fails
✔️ Avoiding QR code generation for now
You may see this banner when trying to print labels:
“Please be aware that eBay Standard Envelope and eBay International Standard Delivery is experiencing issues generating labels with insurance, generating labels with signature, generating QR Codes at the moment… please try again later.”
Just wanted to get this on everyone’s radar so nobody gets stuck at shipping time.
