Seller wants me to create return label but it cost 50% of the item I am returning!!!

The seller didn't like my reason for return so they opened a case. Ebay said they HAD to accept the return regardless of the reason. Seller said I had to pay shipping since the item was as described. Fine. Except it's from USA to Malaysia and every shipping option costs anywhere from 80 to 300 dollars on a 150 dollar item!!!! I have asked the shipper to use their discounted rates as a shipper to generate a label for me but to let me know before actually buying it. Doesn't EBAY have some centralized shipping service I can use w a hub in the USA? If so, how can I access it for a Return? Looking for a cheap way to return this. Thank you in advance. Patrick

If this item is counterfeit, in other words, not as described, why would you not just open an item not as described case with eBay?

In that situation, the seller is required to either send you a prepaid return label or to reimburse you in advance for the cost of return shipping if he wants the item back.

Per the MBG, the buyer shouldn't suffer a financial burden if/when he received an item that's NAD, so, frankly, not sure I understand the situation.

A few simple questions:

1. Again, what are you using as the reason for return? If it's NAD and you've opened the appropriate case, don't understand your concern about the return shipping cost.

2. Have you or have you not read the MBG?

What reason did you select for the reason to return the item?

If you filed an INAD the seller pays return shipping if they want it returned before refunding.
