Just heads up, I know this is not just me:
Ordered from seller who promptly shipped and provided tracking; only problem seller fat-fingered the street address, zip was correct; fedex delivered to address a provided.
Seller does not respond to communication, I file case with Fedex - fedex checks - yep - address seller put on label incorrect (not a previous address of mine if you are wondering).
I open a case with eBay support - they look - say - yep it was delivered - case closed.
Not sure what to do as ebay support made "final decision" - I'm still out the money and no item and seller is incommunicado...
Thanks for all the help

get the address delivered to in written form from the shipper; and appeal the case.
You must have that proof to do so.
Common scam in these times.

Try what @donsdetour said. If that doesn't work, try opening a claim with PayPal, or do a charge back with your Credit Card company.

unfortunately Fedex does not want to disclose the address as I'm not the shipper and the actual address they only confirmed it is the same zip code and described a property that it is not mine but won't give me - hence my catch 22 as the seller won't respond; not to mention that there is no way to appeal an ebay support decision that they deemed "final" - maybe I just don't know how?

Yep - just did the case in Paypal, let's see what happens

You need to get an email from the shipper saying that tracking number did not go to your address. It can take many calls to get a rep that will do that. If you paid by credit card, file with them if paypal turns you down. Card companies will ask the shipper if that tracking number went to your address.
Paypal by the way is the one the card company deals with as it's their account. So, paypal have come up with proof they you received the item. They can't since they know jack about it. They can only ask the seller to provide it. So, you will win. Always use a credit card !
