Hi All
Here is the situation. I buy high value items via eBay. Never ever had a problem like this.
Last month i purchased an item for my company(PLC) and paid $385 with shipping(Usually sellers with industrial parts do not have a long selling history). Anyways, First this seller told me he did not receive paypal payment in his account, I called Paypal and they told me payment did went into his account that is registered with his eBay. He requested me to cancel the payment thrice since he is trying to correct the email address in his eBay account, Everytime money went to the account which he said he don't own. I told him i can't get my money stuck again and again, He said, It is ok money is in his wife's account and he will mail the item now(He played like this for a week). I received a card board wrapped in white paper with my name and address on it(No way it was tempared) I have not even opened this paper thin package. I called eBay and explained this to them. Seller created this account last month and has 0 feedback but since eBay had money back gurantee i was not worried about any mishap before buying from him. eBay rep opened a NAD return and asked me to file a report with IC3, Which i did right away.
Seller logged into the return case and just wrote 'I disagree'. Now funny thing is that, He posted same item with double price in eBay with the same serial number which he already sold me(Serial numbers really manners in this type of items) and when i told this to eBay, They said we will look into it. He is scamming and i am not sure why eBay is not removing this item from his account. I have not received refund from eBay yet. Another thing, I sent eBay the weight information of original item from manufacturer site(7 lbs without packing) While his shipping label on my package shows 1.515 kg only and the dimensions are also totally off(Height should be 12" while his package is only 1.5"). What do i need to do next to get my refund? I am really confused

The most confusing part is that i don't see open case in my account. While at the same time i am getting replies from eBay reps about this issue for past 3 days. In the purchase history i see 'Cancelled order' "You created a return" no option to ask eBay to setp in (eBay opened a return on May 18th)

I would contact ebay again and inquire as to what if anything ebay expects you to undertake at the present time.
I SUSPECT you have not been issued a return label.

After 3 days have elapsed from opening the request, you should then be able to open a case & have ebay step in.

Yes, No shipping label. This scammer only wrote "I disagree" in return message system.
Also when i ran his name and address search on google i found that he is known scammer on other
selling sites. I wonder why eBay is not taking this seriously and why he still have fake item posted for sale. I hope no one else fell into his trap

You can ask them to step in on the 25tb. Just go to the resolution center, you’ll see the link to ask eBay to step in. You don’t need to contact customer service.
