Hi All,
Hope I can get some advise on the following issue...
1. I made a request to return an item (the part does not fit my car)
2. Made the request to return the item on 5th May 2017
3. Seller approved the request and furnished a return address
4. I added tracking details to the return request and sent the parcel off
5. After one month, having not received any refund I opened a case to Ebay
6. Seller claimed they never received the parcel
7. Ebay closed the case, taking the Sellers side
8. Today (19th July 2017) I received a letter from the post office informing me that the parcel was delivered on 18 May 2017, well within the refund time limit
9. What are my options in getting the seller to refund me?
It appears to me that the Seller is being dishonest by claiming that they did not receive the parcel. It was unfortunate that the post office took so long to inform me that the parcel was delivered to the seller.

You shouldn't open a dispute at PayPal because it was remorse, not SNAD.
File a chargeback instead with your credit card issuer using the reason: Merchandise returned, credit not received.

Did the tracking say the item had been delivered back to the seller? If all you have is a letter from USPS and the tracking still shows it hasn't been delivered you still lose. Ebay relies on the tracking info in deciding a case.
