The seller accepted the return, return was delivered via tracking, but seller never credited any money.
Misunderstood that I had 30 days to resolve issue with seller, before I could ask eBay for help, not that I needed to contact eBay in 30 days.
Send several messages to seller inside the 30 days asking for my money back, no responds.
Now eBay closed the return and I still did not receive my credit for the $300 purchase.
Clearly I should have read the eBay mail properly, though if I would not have gotten the mail with the 30 days notice, I would contacted eBay earlier, anyway.
What options do I have left?

you have six months at PP to file a case, make sure to provide the tracking number that proved delivery to the seller.

Thats fine, cc's go thru PP,unless the seller used managed payments...your cc will be credited, but it can take up to one billing cycle for the credit. If you dont get help at PP, you can always file a chargeback with your cc, but try PP first.

For future reference:
If you filed a Returns Request, and shipped the item back to the seller with tracking, once tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, the seller has 2 business days to refund your payment. If no refund, you Ask ebay to step in to force the refund.
