Hi eBay community,
Saw this great article and i have a few questions and concerns
https://community.ebay.com/t5/Shipping/Tracking-info-update/m-p/35140940#M507389
I have a couple orders that are routed to literally the tracking number that was provided by eBay/USPS which shows outdated and timeline of another order from god knows who/where.
For example: This order was to be delivered in MN to buyer. I printed my label on 6/21 and ebay tracking shows progress that was promising but it mimic what the direct USPS link is showcasing saying it was delivered 6/14...
I'm also having a couple orders being labeled as mis-shipped and bouncing back & forth between facilities and marked as mis-shipped again.
eBay representative assured me I should be fine as a seller and i hope so because I don't want to lose the item if it doesn't reach the buyer AND be out of money...
USPS representative stated something about fraudulent label but that can't be the case because I literally purchase all my labels via ebay lol... Hoping these are all just false notifications and makes it to the buyer/recipient destination. Never had this issue until this past week orders and it's frustrating

You said you have questions but I don't see any questions in your post.
The eBay announcement you linked in your post explains what to expect. You'll be protected as a seller. eBay is working with USPS to ensure delivery. If buyers file non-receipt claims or leave bad FB you can contact customer service to help with that.

Same here. Parcel that was supposed to go to North Carolina is now out for delivery in Buffalo, New York.
Notice how that post says NOTHING about covering INR claims. Since the scan will show as delivered, you cannot file an insurance claim either.
This is an absolute NIGHTMARE for sellers.

my ebay representative I chatted with stated they will cover my back and I expressed my concerns about being screwed over for a mistake that has nothing to do on my end as a seller. Proceeded to use ebay shipping labels and whatever tracking # generated should be held accountable on ebay/USPS with how that system is set up.
Great to see it's not just me and a bunch of other sellers are experiencing similar issues which is frustrating. First time this ever happened in a decade on ebay.
5 out of the 21 packages I shipped earlier this week is impacted...

Will those items still be delivered or something else needs to be done?
I bought an item on Jun 21 and used the same address that I always use in Orlando-FL.
USPS updated on Jun 24 saying the package was delivered to a PO Box in Houston-TX. I don't know anyone there lol.
I contacted the seller and he said he bought the labels directly from Ebay, and the delivery address on label was indeed the one I provided in Orlando.
Is there any way to track the item? Item appears delivered both on USPS and Ebay.

Hi @gustavorgg . eBay's announcement said, in part:
"For any affected orders that have already shipped, we are working with USPS to ensure delivery is not disrupted. Transactions impacted by this issue will display accurate tracking events on eBay, although the USPS website may show tracking information from a previous shipment."
I'm glad you came here to ask instead of filling a premature 'item not received' claim! I wouldn't worry about it right now - you should eventually receive your package.
The Money Back Guarantee window is 30 days so just keep that date in mind and if you don't get your item within a couple of weeks or see new tracking movement on eBay you can come back to ask for more advice and we'll walk you through any steps to ensure you're made whole if the item doesn't arrive.

Just to follow up on this, the package did arrive today! 🙂
