Hi. I bought an item from Japan that’s supposed to be arriving via sea mail (no tracks) and it’s been 3 months now so I know it should be arriving soon. I’ve been checking my mailbox everyday but my question is who is delivering it? Is it USPS? I can’t find any answers online and I just want to know how other people have had their experience receiving sea mail because USPS usually delivers around 4-5pm but if it’s some other carrier I might have to check a little later than that. Any insight on this would be great!

Although I don't know about "Sea Mail" to the USA, I do know from my own experiences from many years ago, that method of shipping is way too unreliable & that after 3 months, it's no longer a question of "when" an item should be arriving, but more so, a question of "if" the item arrives... The "un-tracked sea mail" shipping method fell out of favor years ago ...way too risky for both seller and buyer....

What is the last given delivery date? You have to file an item not received in 30 days from that.
You have 180 days from purchase to file with paypal.
If you paid by credit card, call your card company.
I don't hold much hope it's still arriving.....

Its probably sitting on ship in Long Beach in a container waiting to off loaded. Last I heard there were hundreds of ships with hundreds of containers each sitting anchored waiting to be offloaded.
