The new Time Away policy allows for sales up to 15 days while your away. If my end day is say Friday, August 9th at 6:00am PST (the 15th day) and my shipping is set up for 1 business day, does that mean everything that sold during that 15 day period needs to be shipped the next business day? In this case on the 12th (Monday). Or, will I be required to ship everything on the 9th? I'm not sure if eBay adjusts the shipping to the 15 days or if it's 15 days + the handling time you specify (1 business day in my case). I know this is a specific situation and the answer will mean the difference between allowing sales and having to pause sales for my time away.
Appreciate the help!

Personally I wouldn't do it.
People don't read and it's prone to complaints and negative feedback.

The way that I understand it is that both handling time and delivery time will be extended. I would use this if it was just for a few days but not for 2 weeks. People typically don't look at handling time, they expect an item to be mailed within a couple of days if not sooner.

I have done time away. I would not do one day shipping.
I did 15 days time away while buyers could still make purchases. Had about 100 purchases while away. I emailed each buyer when I would return from my vacation and such. Everyone was nice. No problems. Day I returned I got about 30 more purchases. I was so busy. Made good money while on vacation for spending money on my vacation.
I day shipping...never.
It's the day you return to ship items out. Need to figure day you return plus 3 days for packaging and shipping.
I had it easy...I have easy shipping...standard envelope and a stamp and write the address.
Remember the 'mission statement'...expect the unexpected.
Anything can go wrong...look at these customers trying to get a Delta Flight out for days now.

Hi @daps_marketplace - looks like you did not get a direct response to this question.
With 1 day handling, reopening your shop on Fri Aug 9th means you would not have to ship until Mon Aug 12th. If you stay on time away for 2 weeks while allowing sales, I suggest using the out of office auto-response and keeping it active through Monday the 12th.
If you feel 2 weeks is too long to hold shipments, you could always close up for 1 week not allowing sales, then re-set time away for the second week while allowing sales.
Below is some general advice regarding Time Away settings.
-------
Here's the page about Time Away settings:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/selling-tools/time-away?id=5137
If you allow sales while away, make sure you read all the exclusions carefully.
There's an option to set up an out of office auto-response within the Time Away settings.
Keep in mind you're still responsible for handling any return requests, claims or payment disputes that are filed while you're away. If you won't have internet access to check in every day or two, I suggest setting up automated return rules. You can turn off the automation after you return.
