I have a buyer who bought Headphones. These headphones clearly specify that there was a budlight logo on them in the Title and description. Buyer claims it wasn't as described because they have a budlight logo and it was not appropriate for her daughter. Requeted a return. Although I did I just thought it would be easier to accept the return request. Now this buyer is emailing several times asking for a partial refund. In my 17 years I have not had a buyer like this. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I wouldn't label the buyer as a scammer right away but he could be. I see your feedback number and there are people who attempt to victimize these kinds of sellers like you.
I will highly consider the potential defect or negative feedback that this buyer could cost you. I was on that road when I was new but my item was only a new Blu-ray disc involving about $10.00. Kind of an easier decision for me back then. And that was the time when ebays return policy was not rolled out yet.

This is what many here refer to a sa 'post sale discount' and it's more common than many care to admit. My guess is the buyer doesn't have children.

Yes it's frustrating. Probably googled scams and found one that he likes but did bother to read the whole thing. He was supposed to ask for the partial first, with the caveat, ' I hope I don't have to leave negative feedback, ' or something to that affect. Then move onto the SNAD. You're probably just a practice run. He'll change his ID when this is over and move on to the next target. You just have to decide whether you want it back, pay for the return or refund in full.
