I need help. Why is it that I needed to place my address for a virtual purchase. I got scammed $4 but I'm worried this person now knows my address? It's saying my package is being shipped when it's a VIRTUAL purchase for in game. Is there a way to fix this so the person doesn't know my address because I'm worried.

I don't think so. Seller gets your mailing information for shipping. eBay probably doesn't know it was a virtual item.

It didn't. I checked out earlier today and it says I can't return or refund until June 29th and my package will be here on July 9th. I got it from this seller https://www.ebay.com/usr/jordan5659?_trksid=p2047675.l2559
I looked up that once you check out they get your address and it was already too late for me to cancel.

Because ... except in limited situations, eBay does not permit the sale of virtual items. They expect a tangible item to be shipped.
So, if a seller sells such an item, he marks it shipped. Your email address, physical address, and phone number is always available to any sellers

They can't do anything to you just because they have your address. They probably live a world away and are busy trying to scam people electronically to worry about doing anything in person to someone 500 or thousands of miles away.

I wouldn’t worry so much about the seller having your home address than about Nintendo closing your account as such transaction are forbidden in the Animal Crossing UA.

If the package is scheduled to be delivered on July 9, then on July 10 you can go to the ebay resolution center and file an Item Not Received claim to get your money back, since the seller won't have a tracking number to show proof of deliver.
