Hello,
How do I dispute a refund that has happened? The seller claimed the item was broken, I asked for evidence and was sent none. Then they asked for a return label and again I asked for evidence of the damage. They didn't send it so I wrote that if they did not send me more info, I felt like maybe they were lying because the item was listed and was known not to have a charging cord. They then wrote me saying I was rude and sending a picture of something that was supposedly broken off the part. I told them it was the way it came but they refused to believe me and told me they would get their money back either way and to put "that in my pipe and smoke it". Then I just gave the refund because I looked into it and it appears ebay will refund the buyer if they claim it is broken. Once I refunded the money, they relisted the item for sale for even more than they paid for it from me. I want my money that I refunded back.
my item they are reselling

Did you also sell it for parts only, meaning it didnt work?I dont see it in your sold items. If you wanted it back, you could have sent her a return label, then refund after return. Buyers are not required to furnish photos of returns.

When you have this type of "buyer,"...never never NEVER "just refund them."
We have a standard saying for situations like this...if the shady buyer has this form of complaint, your response should be:
"I am sorry that you are not happy with your purchase, please return it for a full refund."
Lather, rinse and repeat for as long as necessary. Do NOT cave into their demands of a refund without a return.
If they open an "item not as described" case against you so that - as that "buyer" said... they would get their money back either way...fine...accept the return - but they have to return the item for a refund.
I do not think that eBay can help you in regards to getting your money back b/c you voluntarily refunded them.
BTW: Do not forget to put this winner on your BBL.
Sorry that this has happened to you.

The ULTIMATE 'buy low, sell high'... it's a shame for you both. Sorry this happened to you.

@luckybffy The Buyer selling it has nothing to do with you selling it to the Buyer ... In the future use Free Returns, that will give you flexibility, within the guidelines, to refund up to 50% of the original purchase, none of the original shipping and protect you against less then Positive Feedback.
When a Buyer claims damage I send a simple message and ask for pictures for my records. If I get them I know what I am dealing with ... if I don't or they say they can not upload pics or don't know how I simply advise them to process a return in the Resolution center. I had one Buyer claim an HO locomotive would not work, made it sound really bad in messages ... I think the real issue was the detail handrails had to be installed since they were still in their factory sealed bag and they didn't want to mess with it. It was a higher end locomotive in the original box and I tested it before listing and it fired right up ... I tested it right before shipping and same good result. When I got it back I put in on the test track and it fired right up ... I would have preferred the Buyer just say they changed their mind rather then lie like they did.
