Currently my listings that have "free shipping" and "one day handling" have the message "ships same day" in the gray box under the buy now or add to cart. It does not show up on my listings that have 1 day handling but buyer pays shipping. I do not have one day handling because I work all day. It is currently 5:38Am in Washington state. I leave for work at 7:am so there is no way I can ship ame day if buyer "pays within 5 hrs and 34mins" as the listing states to buyers. (false advertising that ebay adds to my listing) I know you may not see it when you get up or check this message, but I've seen this frequently. Like I said it seems to be a moving target dependent on time of day you look Check out item number 383452579114 which is a listing I added over the weekend.

And my listings also show this "ships same day" message for items with one day handling and free shipping. item number 323988688213 is just one example. It is 5:43am and I leave for work at 7am (ebay time) so there is no way to ship same day as I will be at work teaching first grade students, not shipping ebay packages.

you may need to look at these in the moring as the message implies that I will ship same day if paid by around noon. It is impossible for me to meet this as I work during the day.

Please fix this faulty advertising in my listings. Thank you.

I started a thread about this last Monday and have been reporting it to Ebay since November 2019. I also posed the question for the Ebay town hall and brought it up in weekly chats twice. They simply refuse to fix it.
Since Ebay has failed to address this issue it's starting to look like Ebay does this on purpose. They have re-defined same day shipping.
I guess they forgot to mention it in the Fall 2019 seller update.

Here is what my buyers see at 4:41PM. 19 minutes before the post office closes.
Any sellers reading this should check their listings. If it's happening to you reply here. If people are talking about it maybe Ebay will do something.

You should make sure whoever is investigating this will look at these listings during business hours. If they look in the evening or night they will not see it.
Hopefully they will do something before the media or the FTC starts looking at this.

I have the Same Issue my EBAY STORE LISTINGS WITH FREE SHIPPING ARE BEING ADVERTISED AS SAME DAY SHIPPING WHICH IS NOT CORRECT, NONE OF MY LISTINGS ARE SET UP BY ME FOR SAME DAY SHIPPING. It looks like it is WIDESPREAD TO ALL EBAY STORE SELLERS AS ALL ADS FROM OTHER SELLERS WITH FREE SHIPPING GUARANTEED DELIVERY BY DATE ARE DISPLAYING: SAME DAY SHIPPING!!! EBAY NEEDS TO CORRECT THIS SYSTEM UPDATE ERROR MALFUNCTION RIGHT AWAY AS THERE WILL BE MILLIONS OF CLAIMS THAT ITEMS DID NOT ARRIVE ON GUARANTEED BY DELIVERY BY DATE RESULTING IN MILLIONS OF EBAY BUYERS NOT BEING SATISFIED AND MAKE EBAY LOOK REALLY BAD LIKE THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!! AND AS WELL A HUGE SALES LOSS FOR BOTH EBAY & EBAY STORE SELLERS!!! AND WHEN ALL ALONG YOU DID EVERYTHING RIGHT AS EBAY STORE SELLER AND NOTHIG WAS WRONG WITH ITEM PURCHASED!!!
