Hello everyone,
I have not sold on ebay for many years and came back to list a bike for local pick up only. The person that purchased the bike lives across the country from me. They are claiming that UPS will do a pick up, package and ship. I contacted my local UPS store and they do not offer this service, I called the national UPS headquarters and it is not a service done nationally, only through local stores. I was out of town and unable to respond immediately to the buyer (she continued to message me every few hours) and then she tracked down my work email this morning and sent me an email saying she thinks she has been scammed.
I don't know how to handle this and am worried it is not going to end well. Advice from the pro's?
Thanks!

Cancel the order, refund her money, block her. End of story. She purchased item knowing that local pick up was only option.

She right, but extra work for you.

She is claiming the UPS will do all of this. She says that UPS will pick up the bike from my house as is, pack it, and then ship it to her.
I told her that I am not doing any packing, as the listing was for pick up only.

I would just tell her that the listing clearly says no shipping and offer to refund her money if she cannot arrange pickup. If you can get her to ask you to cancel, you can then cancel the sale at the buyer's request and get your fees back.

She is claiming there is a UPS store in the region that offers the service. Will I be liable if there is damage during the shipping? She is mad at me for questioning because she already paid.
