Hi to all members,i need your advice. I was recently cheated by a buyer with the help of ebay.In June i sold some Omega watch parts (675$ ),there was a slight delay in transport time due to Covid 19 rules. The buyer filed a false complaint against me on ebay that the package did not received my package even though it had arrived in his city. Ebay closed the case in my favor. After that, the buyer filed another complaint against me,the reason :This item doesn't match the description in your listing. I sent more pictures with my products and I asked the buyer to send me pictures too. He did not respond to my request. I proved that the buyer was a scammer and that from the beginning he wanted to steal my Omega Speedmaster parts. Ebay closed again in my favor the case and and they released my money, again. After a few days, I received a message that I had lost the case and all previous resolutions had been deleted from history. After that they took my money from paypal but my buyer also has my products and money but ebay doesn't answer me now to explain why they took my money if the buyer has the products. I need help to how to recover money or products, or how to make a appeal.Apologize for my bad and poor english and for my mistake,i use google translate sometime. Thank you in advance.Florin

I am sorry to say there is not much you can do.
You should have had them return for refund.
Now you are out both item and money.
Oh and this is the US board,
I do not know if there is a board in your area, that better advice could be got

A couple of things you can do first is to report the buyer on eBay and appeal the case neither of which will probably get much traction. Above all block this buyer. The best course of action is to file a complaint with the FBI through the Internet Crime Complaint Center at the following web site.
https://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
While the FBI is probably on overload with the number of filed cases the one thing they search for is patterns of repeat offenders something eBay claims they do but obviously don't or they would have caught the guy that scammed over 100K out of hundreds of sellers over a period of 3 years.
I have filed several complaints with the FBI and always forward the case information to eBay just so they are aware in case they are contacted.

Sell on Mercari They deal with Scammers a little Better than EBAY. I have had my share of Problems with EBAY they don't require photos for Cases. Mercari requires 8 photos.

Please explain? Before OP listed the item for sale, where was the money?
a. The seller had the money
b. The buyer had the money
Now that the seller is out the item, where is the money?
a. The seller has the money
b. The buyer has the money

You seem to think it is free to sell here?? You think it does not cost for shipping supplies??
Money is out.
Not only that time is also out.
I forgot that one.
That is not counting the funds being transferred and the costs involved in that and time again..
Yep money and time also lost.

So, the final idea is that eBay buyer protection rules help a rogue buyer steal your products and money.
