So I sold an item and had two options for shipping. One was USPS ground and the other was USPS Parcel Select. Buyer picked parcel select and when I went to print the label, the option for USPS parcel select was not there. I contacted ebay and they claim, USPS removed that option from the site. Anyone else have that issue?
Also noticed a lot of glitches on the site. I sold a few things. Both were in my sold area but ironically, they also showed up as still being listed. I had to rush and close both items down. Very bizarre.
I winded up canceling the sale. The rep told me to go to the USPS office and ship it out directly. My reply was, why in gods name would I pay more money to ship the box which would have costed me $23.00 and not what ebay charged the buyer $14.99? I also stated, ebay takes a commission out of the shipping so with that said, me paying $8 bucks more, 10% on shipping, 10% on the sale of the item and then paypal fees. It clearly wasnt worth the sale. Especially when it was $18. Ebay needs to get a grip. I'm happy tho.. I sell on facebook marketplace and we have been successful on there with no fees, no taxes and we still ship.
I noticed things dont sell like they used to back in the days. Ebay now is a penny auction. Very sad. It shudnt be much time before they go under. Especially the way this world is going. I see them not lasting much longer.

Sorry to read your problems:
Yep shipping is a major one: Had not hear that on UPS removed that.
As for
"Both were in my sold area but ironically, they also showed up as still being listed. I had to rush and close both items down. Very bizarre."
Be glade you could see them: ghost listings: Usually they do not even show till the sell and then of course item was long gone.
As for the low selling rates general items seem to be in this area. I believe folks are starting to hang on to the money.
As for eBay lasting, time will tell. I believe they will last.
