SHIPPING FEES

I am picking up a purchase from a local seller but paying via eBay.  How do I get the shipping fees removed from the checkout screen?

If it's advertised as Local Pickup, select that option before paying. If it's not listed that way, the seller will need to add it.

Or the seller can issue a refund for the shipping charge if it's something they agree to.

If no purchase was made yet you need to contact the seller and have them revise the ad to include pick up. Once they do that you select pick up when you check out. Then Ebay will give you a code when you purchase the item. You must give this code to the seller upon pick up or scan the QR code with each others phones. So that way Ebay knows you picked it up.
