SHIPPING FEES

I'm having trouble with shipping fees being charged me by ebay in my payouts versus the actual shipping fee shown when preparing the label using ebay.  Also, I've noticed that the rate calculations are substantially higher at times, as I know the rate for certain consistent items that I sell. For example, a Priority Mail item that weighed 1 lb showed $22.19 - obvious to me the rate for other items I shipped was only $8.02. So I used my postal service account directly and shipped it out for the lesser amount. This needs to fixed by ebay as well as it showing an accurate rate then being charged a higher rate in my payout details by ebay.

You are doing something wrong, especially with your Priority Mail example, as ebay discounts for Priority are always less than at the post office or at USPS.com.

Would need specific details of your example for us to try and figure out what's going on.

What priority mail service did you use?

What are the to/from Zip Codes?

What is the exact weight and dimensions of the package?

Also what ever the shipping total shows for the actual label cost before you click to pay for the label, is exactly what is charged to whatever account you have selected for payment.  There may be a later additional charge or credit if the carrier finds and error, but otherwise the original charge is the same.   Do you have a specific example and screenshot of this not being true?
