I don't usually shop on Ebay so please forgive the question. I purchased an item, however, when I received it, it wasn't exactly what I thought and had an odd smell. Anyway, I started a "Return", only to get to the "Paypal" page asking me to log in to pay for the shipping. I don't want to do this, I have already sent it back via the USPS and have a tracking #. I still cannot get past this Paypal page. Can someone please help me. Thank you kindly in advance.

Appears you did not open an "Item Not as Described" dispute as you should have. You then would get a prepaid label from ebay that the seller would pay for.
If you just open a Return Request, with you paying for the return and wanted to use your own label, you should then clicked on "Print Your Own" label, and not accepted to pay for a return label from ebay.
You need to go back to the Return Request and upload the tracking number from your label. If you can't, you will have to call ebay

Instead of clicking Print Return Label @leelee0102 to pay for a label at PayPal:
Just click Mark As Shipped to enter your tracking number.

A not as described case and a return request are one in the same. It is the reason for the return that determines who pays for return shipping @rfmtm
The OP chose a "buyers remorse" reason.
Positive is the attitude
Negative is not the mood

Just my way of emphasizing a basic Return Request is not a dispute, selecting the NAD makes it a dispute.
