Returns to an amazon drop shipper

Hi guys

For the first time in 18 years I need to return something.

I ordered it here on ebay but it came from amazon prime with a gift label in the box.

The keyboard doesnt work so I asked to exchange it. They sent me a message with this link to print a return label.  

All I get is a search screen with an amazon windshield selection on the top of the page.

what am I doing wrong?

Just click on the link in your post above ... I am able to see the label clearly.

By the way, you should report your post to a mod to get them to edit out that link, because your name and address are visible in the clicked link.

Go to the resolution at the bottom of this page and select "I received an item that does not match the seller's description"  to get a return shipping label through Ebay.

If you use the label from Amazon, it can not be tracked and you couldn't prove the seller got the package back.

If you can't prove the package was returned, you won't get a refund.

Did you even look at the label @kensgiftshop? The amazon label CAN be tracked. It’s not an amazon logistics label it’s a UPS return label so I don’t why you think it can’t be tracked? And when the seller issues the label the seller is 100% responsible for the package so the OP would still get a refund without proof of delivery, if the seller HAD issued an untraceable label. But again it’s a UPS label so it’s trackable.

That label IS trackable by eBay and you will have proof of delivery if you use it. The real problem is, if the sellers return address is different you may not have proof of delivery to the correct zip code but since the seller issued the label, the seller is responsible for the shipment and I believe eBay would still make sure you get a refund if he pulled some funny business and said it wasn’t shipped to the right address.

I did find a clickable link in my email. I printed it.  Problem is we dont have a ups office here. I am hoping I can track one down and give it to the driver.

The sellers return address is different. It came from washington. Going to nevada

I guess ebay disables links in its messaging.

eBay is bird-dogging the return address shown at the lower left-hand here:Unless your UPS tracking number shows up at that address --

and makes its way to Bay Lake Trail instead --

you won't get a refund.
