Hello. I would like to get help from the Ebay community on one issue.
I recently requested Ebay's intervention on an issue involving the return of an item to the seller. The Item that the seller sent to me turned out not to be the same as what was shown in the Ebay ad. Due to this unforeseen I talked to the seller requesting a refund of the full value of the package, considering the value of the item plus the shipping fee. I told the seller that I would pay the return value of the package. However, the seller did not accept my proposal saying that he did not accept package returns. As a way to compensate for this, the seller sent me a partial refund, but I did not like it because the amount did not match the total amount he had paid for the item.
So with Ebay's intervention my request was granted and Ebay resolved this issue in my favor. Ebay informed me that I would need to print the return label that the site itself made available to me on the specific page of my account where they also provided the seller's address if they wanted to receive a full refund of the item amount plus shipping.
My request was made yesterday by Ebay. But when I generate the return label provided by Ebay there is a system error stating to try later. What may be happening? Is it a system error or is it because it is still very recent, that is, are still processing the tag so that I can have access to it? Should I wait a little longer until the beginning of the week?
