I bought a pair of sterling silver Chanel earrings but the seller shipped earrings which weren't even close to the earrings in the pictures he posted.
( I later saw that he used the same pictures as another seller of these earrings, makes you wonder if he stole them from that account)
I contacted him and told him not even close to what was pictured and described and that I wanted to return them. He offered 50% off but I am not interested in the crapola he sent. I will never wear it.
Then it started with that he okayed the return but he couldn't send a return label.
The he wanted me to sent it to another Country for the return.
I went to the local Fedex and they found his account and address and it's on it's way back to him.
But now it is stuck in Customs since November 22th, 2019.
When he sent it he stated brass earrings worth $10 (mind you I paid over $100) so I stated fashion earring worth $10 which was probably accurate.
So how long can this take to clear and what happens if it doesn't?
In the mean time he is still posting the same (stolen) pictures of obviously real Chanel earrings and probably selling the same fake stuff, like nothing happened and I still haven't gotten my money back.
What to do next?

It sounds like you didn't fill out the custom forms correctly.
Your seller should have provided you with the custom documents.
If you bought it for $100 you need to put the custom value for $100.
You also need to provide a bill of sale or invoice with the sale price as well as documentation of what the item is including the correct HS tariff code.
If you just make it up or put it at some low number there's a good chance customs could stop it and inspect for further information.
If you don't provide any documentation or the incorrect documents its pretty much a guaranteed that customs will hold the item.

The seller is a fraud, they wouldn't provide me with anything. Not even a shipping label.
I bought it for $100+ but a jeweler here in town said it was worth about $10.
So I think I did provide an accurate value.
I didn't include the original shipping manifest though, cause I didn't know I had to... and even then it would have said the **bleep** they made up.
I am lost at what to do now... I guess I will give our Local Fedex a call to see what they can do, cause everyone I speak with is pointing out what is wrong but no one seems to offer a solution.

So @turquoisesky does this mean FedEx was able to charge your seller for return shipping?
AND DID YOU RETURN LABEL TO THE EXACT ADDRESS OKAYED ON THE RETURN DETAILS PAGE. And not to another country not shown on that page.
If so #1 and #2 then contact eBay by phone (Google "eBay number") or social media to ask eBay to ESCALATE the return, look at the tracking, and force a refund after no movement for 7 days.
