Returned broken item, and I did not get any replacement or refund.

I order an item from this seller  in 10th of Nov 2017, the item arrived on 25th of Nov 2017, but broken. After contacting the seller, we agreed that I would return the item, and she would resend a new one. So I did return it back to the seller. But the item did not arrived.

 

This is the chronology:

-2017-

Nov 10 - Item purchased - paid

Nov 25 - Broken item received.

Nov 29 - Contacted seller

Nov 30 - Seller asked for proof of defected item

 

Dec 1 - Sent photo proof

Dec 2 - Seller ask me to fix at local tailors (I said "no")

Dec 5 - Seller told me she will send a new one.

Dec 6 - Seller give address where I should return the defected item.

Dec 7 - Item returned (with tracking number)

Dec 8 - Seller said that a new shipping has been arranged. I asked if for tracking number, but she said tracking number will only be provided if the item value is more than $30, otherwise I need to pay extra $3 for tracking number. (I said "no". I don't want to pay extra)

Dec 11 - Contacted the seller asking if the item already been posted or not.

Dec 12 - Seller confirmed the item is in shipment.

 

- 2018 -

Jan 12 - Contacting the seller for not receiving the item after 1 month.

Jan 13 - Seller offers for refund. And I said I prefer if the item can be resent to my address.

Jan 19 - Seller said she will arrange a new shipment to my address

Jan 22 - I contacted the seller to ask for progress, and seller said the resent item is still on the way and asked me to wait. I wait for another 1 month.

 

Feb 23 - I contacted the seller again to notify her that the item not arrived.

Feb 24 - Seller said she will refund if I can't wait longer.

 

Mar 1 - I agree to get refund from the seller

Mar 2 - Seller ask me not to give neutral or negative rating if she refunded

Mar 5 - I agree IF I got my money back. Few hours later, she replied saying that she has refund to my PayPal account.

Mar 7 - I contacted the seller after seeing no records in my PayPal nor online banking related to the refund transaction. Since there's no transaction at all for the pass week, I asked for proof of transaction.

 

There's no reply afterwards.

When I try to leave another reply, the system says "You are attempting to communicate about an invalid item."

When I tried to check the item to leave negative feedback, the item is gone!

I felt like I've been scammed. I regretted not leaving any negative feedback to that seller earlier. 😞

I'm tired of this. It's dragging.

 

How clever. Dragging time and remove item to reduce the possibility in receiving negative feedback.

Lesson learned. I should have give negative feedback right away next time.

 

I don't know what to do next. What should I do? How?

Alamak chakap2 -- just open a case for item not received.

Immediately go back and click Escalate to PayPal, bottom of the page.

 

Then just diam2 completely, even if seller contacts you  --

 

and you'll get your refund in 11 days.
