A buyer wants to return a USPS Ground Advantage package to me. She has started an ebay return request but is asking me to mail her a return shipping label. Is that necessary? Doesn't ebay give her a link to print her own return address label? I assume it will be charged to my ebay account, but that is ok with me.

It is not necessary but if you want to be nice, authorize a return label thru ebay so you are covered regardless, then explain to the buyer that they can have the label printed just about anywhere.
then you could print a return label and mail it off to them (completely optional on your part)
that is going beyond ebay requirements to help them out.
If the return is not sent in time then the return is canceled automatically without refund to the buyer.

Once the buyer has opened an official eBay return request (and you have approved the request), a return label will automatically be referred to the buyer.
Payment for the return label is deducted from the seller's account.
So just approve the buyer's return request, and the buyer will receive their prepaid return label.

This can be tricky for a first time return fro someone like me...
I had to return something for the first time last month and here I sell all the time...LOL
Seller sends an email through with the code to use on the machine at the post office or with a clerk.
A problem...not for me...I have an iPhone...my wife doesn't and wouldn't know how to even use the iPhone to get the code.
Anyway, got into the post office...saw the machine...the big machine...and had a young young person show me how to get my label out of the machine...LOL
