Hello,
I sold a Nintendo Switch to someone in Taiwan through the Global Ship Program. Before it was delivered to Taiwan (it's currently on it's way through DHL), the buyer wanted to return because "The item didn't fit". I have no returns selected on the listing to Taiwan through the GSP. I'm thinking scam because the buyer wants to return before the item is received. What can I do?
I have the option on Ebay to Decline the Return. But would that cause more of a problem down the road? Another option is to accept the return and contact buyer to work out shipping details. Which one would be better from my end?

You think maybe the buyer meant that for another item from another seller?
Might want to email the buyer and ask them what didnt fit about a Nintendo switch still in transit. 😝

The comment was "It didn't fit". "The console cannot play games in Chinese". How would one know if the device was like this before it was delivered?
I was finally able to get ahold of someone at Ebay. They said that the reason "Doesn't fit" and it was before delivery was considered buyers remorse. Since my listing had no returns to Taiwan, selecting decline return was appropriate. Thoughts? I'm afraid the buyer will appeal and Ebay will side with the buyer.

lol Now I get it...I was thinking "didnt fit" as in clothing or something
I would decline the return and if the buyer goes to Ebay about it, I feel they will stand by you on this one.

Thanks. I declined the return. I'll update if something else happens.
