Hello a seller sold me USB stick 128 GB with fake capacaty, I sent him a proof of testing it. He accepterd return, now the return is in process, I see on ebay that I have right for free shipping because on sellers page it is written he pays for return. In my inbox I received this mesage:
Seller yzhan-695 let us know that they can't buy a return shipping label for you to use for Mini SanDisk 32GB 64GB 128GB Flash Drive Stick Pen USB 3.0 SDCZ43 Ultra Fit CZ43.
The seller is still responsible for return shipping costs, so contact them to arrange return shipping.
So I contacted him to send me money on paypal or pay for label for shipping, he did not response and my time for shipp the item back is ticking, I dont have experience with that ebay shipping label. Please how can I request money for shipping fee after I shipp it to seller by my post, do I send the receive to ebay or what? I do not want to pay shipping for him because he wanted to cheat me by sending me fake product.

FYI I was just screwd by ebay - buyer protection is a joke and a FLAT OUT LIE!
Heres what happened, I bought some game consoles from a$$hole in japan that were stated as good condition and showed up a month late just total utter rubbish. So i opened a return and get the message they cant send a return label and i have to ship them back to him but DONT WORRY THE SELLER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPPING COST. Well I take time off of work to go to post office and spend $75.00 to ship this pile of garbage back to this a$$hole and then wait for my shipping reimbursement. Never got it, seller just ignores me so I call ebay expecting this so called buyer protection and the FACT that they sent me a message assuring me that the seller is responsible for shipping costs. I get someone from their call center and they say so sorry but you shouldnt have shipped them back???? **bleep**. So I am out $75.00 and will be posting this EVERYWHERE because I get a little crazy when I get screwed like this.

If the seller is in a different country than you, the can't buy a shipping label for your country's postal system.
They are supposed to send you money for the label.
If they do not do this, call eBay and tell them that the seller has not provided you with a return label and that they have not sent money for you to purchase one.
You can also "Ask eBay to step in" on the Returns screen.

Doing a return to China through eBay is not equivalent to doing it with a US seller - much more mysterious and challenging. Your goal here is to get a refund, and not a return shipping label.
Let me explain. Here's some information for you.
Hope that helps. In the future, remember that one of the reasons prices from China are so cheap is because there are a lot of fake products. Just because it says SanDisk on the outside doesn't tell you what is really on the inside.

There’s no email support on eBay.com and this is best handled over the phone because of the time frame unsolved. It’s not a complicated situation, your wife needs to get on the phone and tell eBay the item is not as described, the seller is China and can’t send a label & hasn’t sent money through PayPal either and that she needs eBay to step in.

Just do a search of "eBay Customer Service" on your favorite search engine and you'll get a tele # to call. I would provide the number but the eBay moderators frown upon it - against eBay forum policy/rules. I've been busted before.

First Class International will be $14.25 and it does NOT come with proof of delivery to China
Priority International does come with tracking and it's $33.25 for a Small Flat Rate Box (cheapest retail Priority option)
Also, do not fall for the "I'll pay you after the fact." eBay cannot enforce that. They can only require it before shipping the return (or not require you to ship it back if the seller doesn't comply)

The small flat rate box is treated the same as First Class.

To send it back with the cheapest trackable service would be $49 then.

Perhaps you and your wife could get on the phone with ebay Customer Service? THEN you have your wife authorize ebay to speak with you about the issue. THEN you can explain.
But the advice orangehound gave you is good stuff! That is what I would use as a guide to follow.

Absolutely do not agree to pay the shipping back to China because the seller will not reimburse you, and never use the cheaper methods without tracking either. If this seller does not send you the money to ship the item back within the required time frame you will need to escalate the case and ask eBay to step in. I guarantee this seller will never send you the return shipping money even after you ask ebay to help. Ebay will give the seller a few days to resolve this issue. Instead, the seller will just refund you the money you paid for this defective item as any other option will not be cost effective. As an added note be careful of any stories that the seller may tell you. They may tell you that in order to refund you that you need to close the case first. Do not do that because once you close the case they will never pay you either.
